I have been feeling a little sick after the fire on the Hollywood Hills because I had to pass by the hills to get to school from work. I almost gave up on driving because I could not see and my eyes were hurting and itching. I could also see the fire flames from my apartment and the smell of the smoke bothered me at night. Finally, it over.

Really? This week there was a huge fire at an Argentine factory that makes fireworks and incedticides. As usual, the people who worked there were very poor. And I say as usual because it is poor people who have to take the worst possible jobs to make a living. My parents' cleaning lady's daughter, 36 years old, was among the 6 people who died. I am very, very sad about this. And then they, politicians, talk about human rights and the environment... Give me a break! Kuki
Yeah, the fire was so bad. Too pity to know that the fire was in Griffith park. Good thing it is now over. I wonder about how soon the burnt place will be recovered! Do they replant the trees? Even it isn't burning now, the smoke looks still bad out there. Take care.
